GYTC8S Armored Outdoor Figure 8 Self-Supporting Fiber Optic Cable
Description
The 250μm optical fibers are enclosed in high modulus plastic loose tubes filled with waterproof
compound to ensure compactness and longitudinal waterproofness. These tubes are wrapped
with aluminum tape for added protection. Together with the support wires, they are enclosed in
a polyethylene sheath to form a figure-8 structure.
Application
1. Designed for outdoor deployment, ensuring resilience in varied environmental conditions.
2. Supports flexible installation methods such as aerial installations and pipeline laying.
3. Facilitates both long-distance and local area network communication requirements.
Characteristics
1. Non-metallic strength components offer excellent anti-electromagnetic capabilities.
2. Utilizes a loose tube design to ensure optimal performance and protect fibers.
3. Demonstrates outstanding mechanical and environmental resilience.
4. Exhibits good flexibility and bending capabilities.
5. Features a small outer diameter and lightweight construction, ensuring ease of installation.
6. Fully filled cable core provides maximum protection against moisture and contaminants.
7. Aluminum tape serves as a moisture barrier, enhancing the cable's durability.
